Dan Ackerman

Dan is a seasoned Intellectual Property attorney by trade. Born in New York, Dan received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont before graduating law school from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in Colorado.

Dan has served as an administrative aide in a U.S. Congressional Office and two-time Secret Service Presidential Advance Team member while in Washington, D.C. Dan has also appeared as guest speaker at Georgetown University.

Dan’s experience in the beer industry dates back roughly a decade when he first began working with craft brewery clients in Colorado and across the U.S. While his work over the past twelve years has covered a broad spectrum of technology, software, medical and science, manufacturing, food and beverage, and other industries, Dan’s close work with micro and macro breweries has provided invaluable experience in anticipating and handling issues commonly faced in the brewing industry.

Dan focuses on carefully crafting a combined approach of maximize brand potential and minimizing risk that is aligned with the strategic vision of each brewery.

Dan has previously co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation.
